Winter Sowing: Milkweed

Learn how to prepare seeds for spring planting through cold-stratification and winter sowing. In this hands-on workshop, Master Gardener Alice Marty will walk you through the “cheap and easy” method of winter sowing that yields great results even for hard to grow seeds. Using upcycled materials, you will create a winter sow container and plant milkweed seeds to grow in your own backyard. All supplies included.

Early registration is requested. Drop-in registration on the day of the class will be offered if spots are still available.
