Come join us for a morning of creative play in the gardens! Students will be introduced to collage concepts through the book 'Planting A Rainbow' by collage illustrator and author Lois Ehlert. We will explore the gardens to gather ideas for our own collages before returning to the classroom to cut and glue flower paper collages.
This class is ideal for ages 6-12 but children (and teens!) of all ages are welcome to join. Children 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Meet the instructor:
Jessica Croft, a local artist, is a mixed media artist. She creates nature-inspired art with found and thrifted materials. She lives in Mobile with her family.
