Honey may well be the best food on the planet, but even it can be improved upon in both taste and health benefit with the addition of other great foods. By infusing herbs and nutrient rich edibles into honey you can heighten their individual medicinal properties and soften their flavor so that even the pickiest eaters can enjoy them. In this class we will discuss a variety of ways that honey can be infused such as herbal electuaries, fresh ferments, oxymels, and using honey in sauces and beverages.

Participants will make and take home a pint of natural honey cough syrup that can’t be beat in flavor or usefulness.
